TELUGU GANTALA PANCHANGAM'S
Panchangam describes Tithi,Vaara,Nakshatra,Yoga & Karna. Panchangam tells us which day is good, which day is bad, which time is suitable to start a work or not suitable to start a work etc by calculating taara balam. Each tithi,nakshatra,yoga & karna have their own merits and demerits.
We can get benefit by selecting right time to start a new event or by omitting the bad time to start our events. Bad time means Varjyam, Rahu kaalam , Durmuhurtam & Yamagandam etc. We should select an appropriate tithi , nakshatra, yoga for our work. Panchangam gives us the starting and ending times of the tithi, nakshatra,yoga & karna. It also gives the time range of Varjyam, Rahukaalam, Durmuhurtam etc. Apart from these things, panchangam also gives the details of KARTARI, MUDHAMI etc. In Kartari period we should not start construction works. Mudhami period is the time in which we should not start or conduct any new events ,marriages, gruhapravesams, other subhakaryams. Like this way panchangam contains several valuable things. Every one can get benefit by using panchangam irrespective of their religions. Durmuhurtams,Rahukaalam's are fixed bad times for a particular day.
